CEO & President

Rob Simplot joined RCG as CEO in 1999. Under his leadership, the company has advanced its Data & Analytics business consulting capability dramatically while also driving revenue growth in the outsourcing of Business Applications development & support, utilizing the company’s subsidiary in the Philippines. Rob led the management buy-out of RCG in 2013 in partnership with Eos Partners, a private equity firm in New York City. Rob has spent 37 years in the technology industry, helping large complex organizations solve critical business problems. Prior to joining RCG, Rob enjoyed a 21-year career at Unisys Corp. His last position there was Vice President & General Manager for North America – leading a $1-billion revenue organization engaged in infrastructure & technology professional services. Rob completed the executive development program at the Wharton Business School and received both his MBA and BBA degrees in Finance from the University of Iowa.

Gerard joined RCG in 1997 and is responsible for all aspects of the Company’s financial, and accounting functions. In addition, Gerard is responsible for several other corporate functions including the Company’s contracting/pricing function, legal/compliance function, and risk management function. Gerard also oversees the Implementation Quality Assurance group, which provides review and oversight of client proposals and client project delivery, and ensures adherence to the Company’s SDLC. Early in his career, Gerard held several management and leadership positions at Reliance Group Holdings, Inc. and Ernst & Young. Gerard received his MBA in Finance from Pace University’s Lubin Graduate School of Business, holds a BS in Accounting from Boston College, and is a licensed CPA.

Mark joined RCG in 1998 and owns complete operational responsibilities for the Southeast region. As a senior executive at RCG, Mark has made significant contributions toward the growth and expansion of the Company in the area. After he assumed leadership of the Southeast region in 2006, he has doubled the size of region revenue. Before joining RCG, Mark worked in the POS industry for more than 13 years selling IBM and NCR to the retail industry.

John Bender

John joined RCG in 2006 and manages all operations for the Southwest region including sales and delivery. Prior to joining RCG, John served as VP for Adea Solutions and successfully started several new practices and built their Dallas business unit into their largest region over a five-year period. Previously he worked at marchFIRST, a $1.2 billion e-Business consulting and systems integration company as the Director of Business Development for their Dallas office. John also worked at Oracle Corporation, where he served in senior sales and account management roles in the CPG and retail and hi-tech manufacturing verticals. John started his career with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in Plano, Texas as a Financial Analyst. At EDS, he held various roles in finance, project management and sales for six years. John is a member of several professional associations including the Society for Information Management, and he serves on the SMU Cox School of Business Associate Board. John received both his MBA and BBA degrees from Southern Methodist University.

Jim brings 20 years of experience in healthcare technology, operations and management consulting. Most recently he served as Vice President for Santa Rosa Consulting leading the interoperability and integration practices. Before joining Santa Rosa, he served as Senior Vice President with Medicity (an Aetna subsidiary) leading the national accounts group supporting over 100,000 physicians and assisting the Aetna Accountable Care Organization (ACO) team design their integrated ACO solutions. He has also served as a partner in CSC’s health care practice and a partner with First Consulting Group (FCG) where he led the Application Services practice. His experience also includes eight years as the CIO and Vice President of Heritage Health Systems in Nashville, TN. Jim received his MBA with honors from the University of Southern California and holds a BS in Finance from the University of Oregon.

Bob joined RCG in 1998. He is responsible for growth strategies, operations, client delivery, and profitability for the Midwest region. Under Bob’s leadership, the Midwest region has experienced growing revenue and earnings for the past fifteen years. Prior to joining RCG, Bob spent ten years serving clients at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and was responsible for CSC Consulting’s largest process improvement and technology renovation project at a major Fortune 100 client. Bob also spent 12 years at Digital Equipment Corporation as an Account Integration Executive where he was responsible for proposing, designing, and managing large scale application and system integrations projects to Fortune 100 companies. Bob graduated from North Park University.

Vinny joined RCG in 1998 and is a proven business and technology leader with an outstanding ability to deliver high-value solutions that provide competitive advantage. As the General Manager of the Northeast Region, Vinny oversees sales, solution delivery, and operations. He is a trusted advisor to scores of clients in the areas of business strategy and technology enablement. Prior to joining RCG, Vinny was Director of Strategy with AT&T. During his 18 years with AT&T, he held various leadership positions in operations, marketing, and sales. Vinny is a graduate of the City College of New York and has attended executive leadership programs at Boston University and The Tuck School of Business.

Rick joined RCG in 1998. He has a career spanning over 25 years of project development and delivery. As the chief executive in Manila, Rick is responsible for developing RCG’s offshore delivery capabilities and Southeast Asia sales. He was involved in establishing RCG’s Solution Development Lifecycle (SDLC), a key component of the ODC’s initiative to achieve CMMI Level 5 certification. Prior to joining RCG, Rick had a multi-faceted career as a Program Manager for TCSI Corporation, a Silicon Valley software consulting and development firm, where he planned and managed Telecommunications SS7 network management systems in Holland, South Africa and Saudi Arabia. Rick received his PhD and MSc from the University of Toronto and his Bachelor’s from Bishop’s University.

Rachelle is RCG’s Global Managing Principal responsible for the Business Applications Practice. In that role, she represents more than 25 years of technical and management leadership experience in the areas of Quality Assurance & Software testing, application development, integration, and web-based solutions. She has led multinational teams in a wide spectrum of application areas. Since joining RCG in 2000, Rachelle has overseen both onshore and offshore solution implementations in a variety of industries. She also previously managed the strategic development of the e-Business strategy for Halliburton, and was responsible for the company’s Internet and Intranet design, implementation, and operation. Rachelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston.

Since joining RCG in 2000, Rick’s professional focus has been on helping clients meet the challenges of changing business environments by utilizing the overwhelming amount of data available in today’s digital world to realize business value, applying information to improve business operations and their performance, and managing organizational and technical change to respond to today’s business dynamics. As the global leader of RCG’s Data & Analytics practice, Rick works with RCG’s Data & Analytics professionals and clients to help them use data to impact their business results.
